No Transmit Audio on Android app
« on: April 04, 2018, 06:51:45 pm »
Android app connects to my server, and the server to the TS590sg
I can control the rig and receive well BUT I have no TX audio.

Where might I begin to look for a resolution?

Thanks

Double check the audio devices in the server(Options->Audio Configuration), they should both be USB Audio Codec. Double check the levels and make sure they are not muted.

In the Android app under it's settings (3 dots) and Audio Options there is a Mic Source option. One of the othe Mic Source options may work better.

Don't connect the Android app and a Windows Client at the same time. One of them will lose audio.

YUP!  That was it.

Had to made a few adjustments to the server PC but it's working without flaw.
Great audio reports. Probably need an updated Android tablet to better process the app.

Thanks for everything!

If you find the audio get's choppy on the Android app, under Settings->Audio Options select "C Speex Codec", which has a lighter footprint on the resources of the device.
