Based on the tutorial from AVG here,
https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en_US&urlName=How-to-exclude-file-folder-or-website-from-AVG-scanning

You can add an Exception to AVG to prevent issues during network communications with RCForb software.

I looked extensively at this and as I have said elsewhere AVG are not interested in making this issue easy to resolve. They don't trust your knowledge and experience so wish to protect you from what they see as potential issues. I no longer use AVG becuase of this attitude.

Hi
I just go to the web section and disabling the Linkscanner but leave everything else on. This seems to work for me and according to the tool tip it is there to stop links hi-jacking you to dodgy websites. If your only using RCForb I would think it is not so bad to just turn that off. I am however no expert!!!!!

Where is this?  I have found Link-Scanner Surf shield settings (which is ticked)

There is nothing else, on that page, 'to leave turned on' ??

I cannot see any tool tips ???
